To allow members of the graduating class to stay connected in a closed forum, without ceding control of their personal information or content to a third party (ie, Facebook, MySpace, etc).  The class site is a great way to keep updated on major life events and reminisce, plus allows classmates to connect on a professional level as well.

This site features standard community fare, including forums, user profiles, photo galleries, and more.  All dynamic content is password-protected, in order to limit access to class members only.  The site newsfeed not only allows members to share their latest updates (and receive those of others), but also lets users submit information to the newsfeed directly, saving administration time.
