To create a new site featuring news and information on the Save Lake Venita initiative, with enhancements that were determined necessary after a few months using the original site.  This new site includes the same features of the earlier site (allowing online donations through Paypal, online sale of the group's t-shirts, etc.) along with new features listed below.

The new site maintains Save Lake Venita's event calendar, polls, and connections to the group's Facebook and Twitter accounts, while adding features from the cosmetic (a logo on every page that will appear alongside links posted on Facebook) to the efficient (a shorter header, with a wider layout to better utilize screen real estate) to the vital (links on every page to donate and purchase the group's t-shirts).  This is also the first site I've completed utilizing dropdown menus in Joomla, after I picked up a few tweaks that get them working.
